One ERP for consignments, lorry hire and billing across branches

The challenge

HP Logistics has been moving freight for more than 25 years, with branches in Chennai, Jodhpur, Rudrapur and other locations, and most vehicles hired from the market. Consignments, hired lorries, POD approvals, e-way bills and branch accounts had to follow the same rules at every branch.

What we built

We built hplerp, a web ERP that covers consignments and LRs, lorry hire, POD approvals, e-way bills, billing, vouchers, cheques, bank and wallet entries and reports. GST follows the company's reverse-charge position, so LRs carry 0% GST. The front end uses React, Vite and Tailwind CSS with Google Maps and Gemini AI, and WhatsApp, SMS and email notifications for bookings, payments and PODs are being added.
